1 YEAR GUARANTEE  means that if this item fails within one year, AAP will replace it or repair it. If a replacement is not available and we cannot repair it, then we will refund the original purchase price. This guarantee is effective only in the United States and it's territories, AK & HI. The guarantee is void if the AAP markings are absent, if the part is tampered with in any way other than what is necessary for installation, if a part is not returned as requested, if the buyer fails to complete the return within the specified time, or if the transaction is challenged in any way. All our items have a tamper evident security seal / label with a unique serial number. Removing, breaking, or tampering with the seal voids all returns or guarantees.
